Marguerite Bolt, Hemp Specialist, Purdue University Extension
Marguerite Bolt received her M.S. in Entomology from Purdue University, and her B.S. in Entomology from Michigan State University. Bolt's research has focused on hemp-insect interactions and plant chemistry. She is interested in the secondary compounds that hemp produces and how they affect insect pests, as well as identifying economically important pests of hemp and how to use integrated pest management techniques for the developing system.

 


 

Ashley Adair, Extension Organic Agriculture Specialist, Purdue Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Department
Ashley Adair is the Extension Organic Agriculture Specialist in Purdue’s Horticulture and Landscape Architecture Department. Ashley’s responsibilities include organic crops of all kinds, including grain and specialty crops. Prior to becoming an extension specialist, Ashley worked for 5 years as an Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator in Montgomery County, IN. She was a licensed hemp researcher working with growers in her county and region in 2019 and 2020. She is also a FAA Part 107 Commercial Pilot and uses aerial imagery to enhance her extension programming.
