Midwest Hemp Council Asks Texas Gov. Abbott to Veto SB3

Today, Midwest Hemp Council sent a letter to Texas Governor Abbott urging him to veto SB 3. We stand in support with the entire industry in Texas from farmers to retailers to consumers advocating for responsible regulations that balance individual freedoms with consumer safety. Emergency regulations could be put in place or a special legislative session could be called to properly address genuine consumer safety concerns.

In the end, SB 3 forces law abiding adults to choose between functional relief or their 2nd Amendment rights. Be sure to watch this press conference from Monday to put SB 3 in perspective for every day Texans.
