Urgent Action Alert: Big Government Is Coming for Your CBD

SB 250 will be heard in the House Committee on Courts and Criminal Law on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. This bill bans every product currently available to adult consumers on the market in Indiana with exception of CBD isolate. Yes, it even recriminalizes broad spectrum and full spectrum CBD products!

SB 250 is big government overreach at its finest that threatens to eliminate legal hemp products in Indiana. If SB 250 becomes law, it would:

  • Recriminalize the Hoosier hemp market, which has a $1.78 Billion impact on the state

  • Recriminalize hemp processing in the state

  • Impose an inefficient regulatory system that puts small businesses, farmers and independent retailers at a competitive disadvantage in a national marketplace

For more than a decade, Hoosier farmers and small businesses have built a domestic supply of hemp and hemp products driven by strong adult consumer demand. SB 250 replaces that success with short-sighted prohibition that will only empower criminal organizations that do not care about the age of their consumer nor the safety of their product.

We need your voice — NOW.

Please contact members of the Senate committee before Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. and urge them to OPPOSE SB 250. Tell them:

  • You support a regulated marketplace, not prohibition.

  • Consumer safety can be protected without destroying Hoosier farmers, small businesses and consumer choice.

  • How hemp products have improved the quality of life for you and/or a loved one.

  • History has proven prohibition only benefits criminal organizations and hurts minors.

Act today.
