Sadie Katarina

Sadie currently works as the Operations Manager at Optimara Agriculture. After graduating from Penn State University, she worked as the Assistant Director of Operations at Michael Brothers Nursery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for almost a decade. Sadie has spearheaded the Organic Hemp Program at Optimara, making them one of the few USDA Certified Organic hemp producers. Sadie works with her team to provide quality hemp seedlings, clones, and smokable flower.

 

Clint Palmer

Clint has been working with hemp since the birth of the original legislation. He cofounded the TNHIA alongside Colleen Lanier in 2013. He led the first university varietal trial at MTSU in 2015 and earned a degree in Plant & Soil Science later that year. He went on to continue his education for a Molecular Bioscience PhD. Clint led 9 avenues of research for the University during that period. He has been a continued hemp activist and promotes the industry at a high level. He continues his work in Nashville, Tennessee where he is the Director of Operations at Optimara Agriculture.
