THE 2020 KENTUCKY APPLICATION FOR HEMP LICENSES
Thank you for visiting the Kentucky Department of Agriculture’s (KDA) Hemp Licensing Program. Individuals and businesses interested in applying for a grower or processing/handler license can apply online here for no charge at our ONLINE LICENSING PORTAL.
Paper applications are available for review here. Please note that the paper application requires a $200 service charge. All grower applications are due to KDA by March 15, 2020.

Production and increase of interest in Hemp big topic of discussion at recent Kentucky roundtable
Kentucky Agricultural Commissioner Ryan Quarles, who was the key speaker at the round-table, said that his department has approved nearly 4,200 applications to produce up to 42,086 acres of industrial hemp in 2019.
